Edit : pattern corrected the 7th of october, 2010, thank to a gentle reader in the comments ! ❤
question (probably a stupid one), but if you’re doing a yarn over every other stitch in Row 15 (and 4 more times after that in successive rows), then knit the next row without any decreases (like a k2tog), aren’t you doubling the number of stitches on the needle every time you do Row 15? Isn’t the hat going to get exponentially bigger every time you do that 4 row repeat??
I’m sure I’m missing something here, like dropping the yarn-overs, maybe? Love the airy pattern, got the suggested yarn and was going to knit (on maybe a size 6 or 7 needle) for a kid, but wanted to make sure I understood the pattern first.
Thanks for any help and thanks for the pattern!

Oh my … Thank for pointing it
! I think I was a bit tired when I retranscripted the pattern, because you’re right : it’s *yo, k2tog* ! Wow.
I correct this right now !
And don’t worry, I read and speak english. I’m not the best, but a least I’m a little bit fluent in it ^_^
Thanks so much!! Off to knit!

I just finished making this hat! I decided to use three different colors (white, pink, and brown) and I flipped it inside out. I love it! Thanks for the pattern!
I would love to see a picture if you can post one ! *_*
And knowing people like my pattern make me really happy ❤ !
Here’s the picture of my hat! :3
